  Colossal Cave Mountain Park - The tour route is a 1/2 mile long and takes about 45-50 minutes to complete. As your guide relates the Cave's history, legends, and geology, you walk down and back up about 6 1/2 stories and see beautiful cave formations like stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, boxwork, and helictites. Although the cave is always a dry 70 degrees, no special clothing is needed. The park also provides birding, picnicking, camping and some old-fashioned sluicing.
  Kartchner Caverns State Park - Experience a stunning limestone cave in Southeastern Arizona that boasts world-class features. This ¿live¿ cave, discovered in 1974, is host to a wide variety of unique minerals and formations. Water percolates from the surface and calcite formations continue to grow, including stalactites dripping down like icicles and giant stalagmites reaching up from the ground. Tour guides will unveil this fascinating underground landscape during a memorable 1½ hour tour.
  Mount Lemmon and Summerhaven - Just 45 minutes up Catalina Highway is a multi-function playground. At an elevation of 9000 feet, with temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees cooler than Tucson, enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, bicycling, skiing (yes, skiing! - southern most ski lift in US), and Octoberfest in the fall!
  Old Tucson Studios - Originally constructed in 1939 for the feature film ARIZONA, Old Tucson Studios has been the site for more than 300 film and television projects. It is one of the most active filming locations for Western-themed movies, television, cable shows and commercials in the United States.
  Sabino Canyon - Experience the beauty of one of the most unique Southwestern desert canyons on a Sabino Canyon hike or tram ride. Sabino Canyon is a natural desert oasis located in Tucson¿s Coronado National Forest and is home to spectacular desert landscapes and abundant wildlife. During the winter and summer rainy seasons, pools of water form in rocky outcroppings that wind up among hillsides resplendent with palo verde trees, cholla and prickly pear cactus and graceful groves of ocotillo.
  Saguaro National Park - The gigantic Saguaro cactus in all it's glory in either National Park West or National Park East. A literal forest of these ancient, exotic specimens.
  San Xavier Mission - Located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservaton, 9 miles South of Tucson,San Xavier Mission was founded as a Catholic mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. Construction of the current church began in 1783 and was completed in 1797. It is the oldest intact European structure in Arizona. The church's interior is filled with marvelous original statuary and mural paintings. Visitors can truly step back in time and enter an authentic 18th Century space.
  Pima Air and Space Museum - Pima Air & Space Museum, where history takes flight, is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, and the largest non-government funded aviation museum. You'll see more than 300 aircraft and spacecraft including many of the most historically significant and technically advanced craft ever produced, both from the United States and throughout the world.
